I came across a very interesting website lately, called Breathing Earth.
It is an interactive online map of the world that displays a real-time information for number of births, number of deaths, and carbon dioxide emission levels for every country in the world. I am unsure as to where the data is taken from, I can only assume that it is taken from a credible source.
Despite that, it is still a great site that successfully puts these numbers into perspective.
Can you believe that 1 person dies every 12.8 seconds in the United States of America? Even if this is an average, that is still a startling number.
Unfortunately, the site does not have any other section apart from the interactive map. It would have been great if there were other information on the site such as where the data is sourced from or causes of carbon dioxide emission and steps to reduce it.
It has been some time (two weeks) since I last made a post here on my site.
I regret that.
For those of you who have been coming back here to the site, I apologize for not living up to my promises. I have had to dedicate most of my time to resolve some personal issues lately. Before I knew it, two weeks had passed since I stopped writing.
Unfortunately for me, once I stop writing, it takes quite an effort to get back in the motion of doing it.
I am back now.
